The logo brings a similar sense of updating and streamlining to the red envelope, a traditional symbol of giving with love. The iconic red color means good fortune and joy and stands in for the word "red" so we don't need to state it. The word envelope is shortened to simply Velo, with a modern feel for people who live digital lives.
